Destructive chewing often indicates BOREDOM in a puppy. When puppies are not properly mentally or physically stimulated. Puppies will resort to destructive behaviors as a way to release their anxiety or frustration from having pent up energy. This is completely normal behavior for all puppies.
Puppies have a short attention span, and it is the responsibility of the owner as their leader to establish a daily routine that involves interacting with the puppies accordingly!
Owners will need to engage with their puppies everyday providing age appropriate activities that stimulate them both PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY!

We have observed that when owners are PROACTIVE and provide the appropriate amounts of mental and physical stimulation is provided thru a routine daily regimin the puppy’s tend to be better behaved and their chewing habits tend to be less destructive compared to puppies who do not receive these sufficient outlets.
